Meeting between Mr. Bernardo Calzadilla Sarmiento, the MD of Directorate Digitalization and Agri-Business with the GQSP Indonesia’s stakeholders was successfully held on 9/11 in Jakarta. Attended by 25 representatives from difference agencies under the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) and National Standardization Agency (BSN), Mr. Sarmiento highlighted few points on the mega trends on climate change & sustainability as well as the importance of digitalization and the use of AI for metrology, traceability, remote audit and quality assurance. During the meeting all the participants expressed high appreciation for the programme’s interventions in strengthening the national QI, assisting MSMEs and improving quality awareness/culture.
